This brown "rhum agricole" from Martinique is distilled from fresh sugar cane juice and aged up to ten years in new French oak barrels and used bourbon and whisky barrels. A rich aroma of dark fruit and roasted nuts leads to a hearty body of tropical fruit, almond and smoky oak. There are rich vanilla hues accented by hints of spice in the warm, lingering finish.
