Maison Dudognon has been producing fine Cognac since 1776, but its true beginnings date from 1946, when Raymond Dudognon (known to many of his American clients as “The Dude”) took the reins from his father and distilled his first Cognacs. A family business then and now, the house is today run by Raymond’s daughter Claudine Buraud and her husband and son, Gerald and Pierre. Made from 100% Ugni Blanc, this spirit is blended and distilled in the traditional alambic Charentais pot and eventually aged for ten years in 350 liter barrels. Created without additives or coloring, it's a pale gold color with subtle citrus and white fruit aromas. The palate is clean and long with tea, earth, citrus and spice.
