Mancino vermouth is the creation of world-famous Italian bartender, Giancarlo Mancino. Giancarlo spent four years, from 2007 to 2011, researching the subjects, traveling through India, Thailand, Vietnam, England, and his native Italy, identifying forty different botanicals he deemed worthy of inclusion in his project. He then used a family-run traditional mill in Piedmont that dates back to the 1930s to grind the botanicals over a thirty-day period, then steeped the botanical extracts in sugar beet spirit and adding a wine base. His white, infused with 19 botanicals, has gentle aromas of sage and lemon and is light on the palate and crisp on the finish, with a slight heat of spice at the end.
