Similiar to the dry-styled Curacaos from the 1800s, Pierre Ferrand's Dry Curacao is a collaboration between Pierre Ferrand and historian David Wondrich. They steep Seville oranges in unaged brandy, then, after a time, distill it and blend it with Cognac, sugar, more Seville oranges and anise. Aged to perfection in barrels and then released, it provides just the right touch for a wide range of cocktails.
