Skrewball Whiskey was founded in San Diego in 2017 for the sole purpose of producing a most unusual entry on the spirits scene, Peanut Butter Whiskey. Skrewball’s story begins in Ocean Beach, California, born from the passion of a bartender and foodie, Steven Yeng who owned a local watering hole. When Yeng first combined his favorite “flavors,” peanut butter and whiskey, many customers were reluctant to try it, but eventually it became the restaurant’s signature shot. Yeng teamed up with his wife to create Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, and to their surprise ended up with something even better than the original shot. With its warm, toasty, nutty flavor, Skrewball drinks like a liquid peanut butter cup.
