Calumet Farm is of course the iconic thoroughbred breeding and training farm established in Lexington Kentucky in 1924. The Calumet Bourbon brand pays homage to this historic racing farm and is in fact produced by Western Spirits, which today also owns the farm itself. This is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, bottled at 90 proof and aged for at least eight years in white oak; it features a mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye, and 8% malted barley. This is a smooth bourbon with a balanced palate of caramel, vanilla, and oak and just a hint of spice.
